Journaling Streaks

Your streak counts the days in a row you’ve journaled. It’s a gentle scoreboard for showing up, and it lives at the top left of your Home screen.

How your streak counts

  • Finishing an entry counts for the day. Length doesn’t matter. Drafts don’t count.
  • Your journal day rolls over at 4 AM local time, so a late night entry at 1 AM still counts for the evening before.

Your streak screen

Tap the streak counter to open your streak screen. You’ll see your current count, an encouraging message that grows with your practice, and a row showing your last 7 days.

Fix a missed day

Missed a day this week? Tap the un-journaled day in the week row to write a backdated entry for that date. Once you finish it, that day counts.

Hide your streak

Prefer to Journoo without a counter? Toggle off Show Streak in Settings → Personalize. This hides all streak displays in the app and turns off streak reminder notifications. Your streak is still counted quietly in the background, so if you turn it back on later, nothing is lost.

Tip: Want streak reminders? The Streak Alerts toggle lives in Settings → Notifications (off by default).
