Start a New Entry
A blank page is never really blank in Journoo. Every entry opens as a conversation, and Journoo speaks first.
Ways to start
- Tap the + button at the bottom center of any main screen for a blank entry.
- Start your Morning Intention or Evening Reflection using the shortcut at top of home screen.
- Review Start Here prompts, Follow-Up topics, or Daily Discovery, then choose one that feels right.
- If you want a specific outcome, check the Modes page.
- Resume a saved draft.
What happens next
- Journoo greets you with a question or prompt.
- Speak your entry or type your reply, then Explore.
- Journoo responds, and the conversation continues for as long as you want.
The buttons around the page
- Topics appears only on ‘blank entry’ before you’ve written anything and offers starter subjects.
- Explore keeps the conversation going. See the Explore, Suggest, Topics article.
- Finish wraps up the entry, creates your summary, and updates your long-term memory.
Note: On the Free plan you can start 2 entries per day. The count resets daily (default is at 4 AM), and you’ll see an option to upgrade when you try to start a 3rd the same day.
